Argentina Recio Cox, or Tina as she prefers to be called, is a mother of 3
and grandmother of 6. Tina has a BA in Sociology from the University of
Texas at Arlington. Tina is the owner & Director of the agency, which was
licensed in May of 2002. Tina has years of social work experience in
working with children, youth, young adults, pregnant teens, and families.
Tina started her career in social services as a counselor for the Dallas
Independent School District. She has been a child support enforcement
officer, and a Child Protective Services case worker for the Texas
Department of Human Services, where she was an adoption and foster
home licensing worker. Her work consisted of recruiting, training,
licensing and supervising foster and foster/adoptive homes. She has
years of experience in working with birth mothers and adoptive
applicants and assisting them through out the adoptive process. Tina
was site manager/administrator of the Fort Worth, Texas site for the
Comprehensive Child Development Program, (CCDP), a research that
was contracted by the US Congress, US Department of Health and
Human Services, Administration for Children, Youth, and Families. Tina
loves working with people in all areas of family services.
Tina is bi-lingual in Spanish and has always used her Spanish speaking
ability to help provide assistance to the Spanish, non-English speaking
public. A Baby To Love Adoption Agency is the culmination of a dream
that she has had for the past 10 years. Now the dream has become a
reality.
